Aaron Edo

RISING TALENT

Aaron Edo’s parents came from Nigeria and he was born and grew up in Dublin. His mother travelled to Ireland while pregnant with Aaron in search of a better life and better opportunities for her son. At just three years old, Aaron joined the Gaiety School of Acting where he did a year before moving to the Helen Jordan Stage School. He loved it but had to quit. Good fortune came in the form of a scholarship offer from Helen Jordan. Aaron’s been with her ever since. A rising talent, he’s done a lot of theatre work, commercials and documentaries. He has just finished shooting a new, RTÉ-Commissioned gritty six-part crime drama, Taken Down, from the makers of Love/Hate, directed by David Caffrey and written by Stuart Carolan and Jo Spain.
